RECYCLING OF PLASTIC
In the last 20 years, we are continuously active in the sector of recycling of plastic items. More particularly, we process the useless plastic material (plastic scrap) in different qualities, colors and forms (e.g. grains, crumbs). The useless plastic material can come from plastic buckets or nylon bags, that are possibly made of polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE), polystyrene (ΕPS). We are also recycling and processing plastic materials, such as PET, PC, BOPP, PVC, PMMA, etc.
After the completion of the proper processing, we supply, as recycled plastic raw materials, polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE) and polypropylene (PP), and we also supply occasionally other materials (PS, ABS, PVC). The products are in various qualities and forms (for extrusion or injection, in grains or crumbs). At the company KARATSIALI BROS. GENERAL PARTNERSHIP, in Thessaloniki, we are also addressed to industries that produce plastic by-products, but do not have a recycling plant, so that they can proceed to their re-use (outwork plastic). We also have a mobile workshop for the processing of plastic (mobile breaker), staffed with a specialized crew.
A key point of the entire process of recycling of plastic is the careful separation of the wide variety of plastic materials, so that we can choose the ones that can be re-used. Our company gives great importance to the stage of separation of the materials. We separate and wash the plastic materials, optimizing thus their recycling process. After their careful separation and cutting, the plastic materials are led to the respective recipients and the compressor, for their final transformation into new saleable products. Thus, they are re-used in the production process, which is the goal of their recycling.
